What is an approved voluntary plan?

Employers can choose to use a voluntary plan for family leave, medical leave or both medical and family leave. They must apply for a voluntary plan, and then the department must review and approve the plan. If the Department approves a voluntary plan, the Employer’s information will be added to the list provided below. Learn more about voluntary plans.

As of June 9, 2022, the department must post a list of all employers with an approved voluntary plan on its website. (Section 4, chapter 233, Laws of 2022 (SB 5649))
