Help Me Grow Washington is powered by thousands of programs and services across the state. When you call 1-800-322-2588, a Help Me Grow WA Family Resource Navigator will help you access the support you need, whether it be early childhood development screening, application assistance for health insurance, or help finding a food bank, parenting class or low-cost medical clinic.

Help Me Grow Washington can support you in a variety of ways, from finding services that are close to home, to tracking your child’s development, to connecting you with food resources, free or low-cost health insurance, or pregnancy and parenting resources.

Your Family Resource Navigator will follow up to make sure the resources you received worked for you, and to see if you have additional questions or concerns. Help Me Grow services are free and available in all languages.

I am concerned about my child’s development – what should I do?

Starting at birth, your child will begin to reach milestones in how they play, learn, act and speak. Help Me Grow Washington offers a free screening to help parents and caregivers check a child’s developmental progress. The Ages and Stages Questionnaire is a great way to make sure that your infant, toddler or preschooler is healthy and ready to learn and grow.

After completing the questionnaire, a Help Me Grow WA Family Resource Navigator will follow up with you about your child’s results. They can suggest activities to support your child’s growth and, if your child needs extra support, connect you to resources and specialists who can help.
